At We-Learn, our philosophy towards life and education is to be a lifelong learner. We endeavour to further develop the education system and practices to prepare our learners for their future “Knowledge Societies” with 21st century skills. We engage with new and innovative methods through creativity and experiential learning platforms, thus enabling the learners to discover their areas of interest and passion. The emphasis being on developing appropriate skills and capabilities and putting them in daily life application
We believe in personalizing the learners experience, rather than have a “cookie cutter” approach. We also believe that our learners need to learn to create their own space, at the same time be mindful of others and their environment. We believe that creativity is the first step in problem solving and critical thinking. Keeping an eye for details, along with the vision of the “The Big Picture” is a key element of our collective outlook.
My background of business, education and art was the driving force and inspiration for the inception of We Learn. My formal education of Fine Arts (Metal Craft, ceramics, textiles, and printing) along with 15 years of experience in interiors, styling, visual merchandising, fashion and accessories helped me to have a complete overview of all the art streams and the professions aligned with them.
My second half of professional journey was in education, where I primarily worked to bring in an international art curriculum to the learners and then progressed to a more academic focused area of working in International Schools and imbibing the pedagogies and merging the best of both the world. I am also professionally trained as a life coach and a career counselor.
Being an educator plays a very important role as being a role model who can shape the future of the decades to come. My experience working in teams and also autonomously brings me a well-rounded experience in human relations.
